Clarinet

The clarinet is from the woodwind family. It has a single-reed mouthpiece and a straight cylindrical tube with a flared bell at the end. Student models are made of plastic to keep the cost down and professional ones are made of wood. Clarinets are commonly played in orchestras, wind, jazz and marching bands. Recommended age 9+ due to size and weight of the instrument Cost: Individual Lesson: R1200 for 8 x 30 minute lessons per term. Cost: Group Lesson: R800 for 8 x 30 minute lessons per term.
